JOB LOCATION: KANGUNDO ROAD / UTAWALA THIKA/FEDHA/KITENGELA/ATHI RIVER
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Stock Monitoring & Control
- Track and reconcile physical stock against system stock regularly.
- Conduct routine and surprise stock counts across assigned shops.
- Monitor stock movement (inflows and outflows) daily.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and variances.
- Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) and minimize wastage or expiry losses.
Data Collection & Analysis
- Collect daily, weekly, and monthly stock and sales reports per shop.
- Analyze stock levels and sales trends to identify slow-moving and fast-moving items.
- Prepare variance reports and provide insights on stock performance.
- Recommend optimal reorder levels based on sales patterns and stock movement.
Sales & Inventory Auditing
- Audit shop sales data to ensure alignment with inventory records.
- Verify goods received against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of stock transactions.
- Identify potential cases of stock loss, pilferage, or mismanagement.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare periodic stock status and variance reports for management.
- Ensure adherence to company inventory policies and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance stock accuracy and efficiency.
System Management
- Update and maintain inventory management systems.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Train shop staff on proper stock handling and documentation procedures where necessary.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years’ experience in stock control, inventory management, or retail operations.
- Proficiency in Excel and inventory management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
- Ability to work independently and across multiple locations.
