To efficiently manage the resort’s stores by overseeing the receipt, inspection, safekeeping, and issuance of inventory; maintaining accurate stock records; and ensuring all items are available when required while adhering to health, safety, and operational standards.

A well-established resort located in Kajiado is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive Storekeeper to join its hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management of all resort stores, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely availability of stock, and full compliance with operational, health, and safety standards.
Experience in the hospitality industry (hotel or resort environment) is mandatory for all applicants.
This role is ideal for a professional with strong organizational skills, a high level of integrity, and proven experience in a hotel or resort setting.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain full control of all resort stores, including issuance of items, delivery management, and stock counts.
· Receive, inspect, record, and issue all goods in accordance with standard operating procedures.
· Conduct quality checks on all deliveries to ensure items are in good condition, within expiry dates, and compliant with approved Local Purchase Orders.
· Verify and post received goods into the Materials Control (MC) system and maintain accurate inventory records.
· Conduct regular inventory audits and monitor stock levels to determine reorder requirements.
· Ensure fast-moving and critical items are consistently available to support uninterrupted operations.
· Safeguard all inventory and maintain a secure and well-organized storage environment.
· Ensure month-end stock takes are completed accurately and on schedule, with all variances investigated and resolved.
· Maintain cleanliness, proper organization, and clear labeling of all store areas at all times.
· Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Food Safety regulations, particularly for food and beverage items.
· Prepare inventory reports, stock summaries, and related documentation as required by management.
· Carry out additional duties as assigned to support overall operational needs.

Experience & Qualifications
· Degree or Diploma in Purchasing & Supplies Management or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Storekeeper in a 4- or 5-star hotel or resort (hospitality experience is mandatory).
· Experience with international hotel brands is an added advantage.
· Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Familiarity with Materials Control (MC) systems and inventory management software.
· Strong computer literacy.
