Company Profile: Maple Leaf Educonnect (MLEC) is a professional marketing services firm providing administrative and student recruitment support to Higher Education institutions across the globe. Operating on a bespoke service model, MLEC delivers tailored solutions aligned to the strategic needs of its university and college partners. For many institutions, MLEC functions as a regional International Office, supporting and engaging prospective students across Africa.
Key responsibilities will include, and not limited to:
- Lead student recruitment and outreach across assigned markets in Africa.
- Provide end-to-end support to prospective students and assigned for the assigned HEI.
- Identify, evaluate, and prospect new student recruitment agencies in-line with the institutional criteria.
- Manage and grow relationships with approved student recruitment agents in the region.
- Identify and participate in key recruitment & marketing events in the region.
- Build and maintain relationships with school counsellors at leading private and international schools in Africa.
- Provide support to the International Office in Canada and coordinate logistics for HEI officials visiting the region.
- Support regional marketing activities, reporting and market insights.
Candidate profile:
Education:
- Post-graduate preferably in marketing.
- Relevant Work Experience: At least 5-years.
- Experienced in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
- Experienced in lead nurturing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent command over English language.
- Outstanding presentation skills.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Open to extensive travel within the region (Africa).
- Good knowledge of international education sector, and the education industry in Africa is an advantage.
- Dynamic, outgoing and committed to customer service.
