Job summary
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver engaging and effective language instruction to students, promoting their academic growth and development in French. A teacher of French develops lesson plans, teaches students how to speak and write in French, monitors student progress, and provides helpful feedback for improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Plan and prepare lesson plans to teaching students how to speak and write in French
· Developing a range of assessments including written and oral tests
· Create an overall positive learning experience
· Identify strengths and weaknesses and take an innovative approach to language teaching
· Assigning and grading projects and examinations.
· Recording and reporting on students' progress.
· Research and implement new teaching methods
· Teach the subject of specialization and impart knowledge, skills and attitudes to the learner
· Introduce new ideas and programmes to ensure improvement in teaching and learning in the subjects of specialisation
· Serve as a role model and maintain learner discipline to create a conducive environment for learning
· Engage in learners curricular and co-curricular activities so as to identify nurture and develop talents
· Provide new ideas and programmes to ensure improvement in teaching and learning in the subjects of specialisation
· Embrace teamwork through collaborative planning and teaching to ensure consistency and improvement in curriculum delivery
· Support Marketing team with marketing activities, including social media and website
· Any other duties assigned by the management.
Qualifications and Experience
· Bachelor of Education – with French as one of the teaching subjects or Bachelor’s or master’s degree in French language or literature with Education certification.
· Proven proficiency in oral and written French
· Valid Teacher Service Commission Certificate
· Previous experience teaching in a school set up would be an added advantage
· Good communication skills
· Basic First Aid Knowledge is an added advantage.
