Telesales Agent (Admission Counselor)
Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, sales-driven Admissions Counselor who thrives on conversations, follow-ups, and closing enrollments. This role is not administrative and not passive. It is a front-line sales position where your primary responsibility is to convert qualified leads into enrolled, paying students!

You will be the first point of contact for prospective students and the key driver of enrollment revenue. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, confidence on the phone, persistence, and a proven ability to close. If you come from telesales, call centers, or high-volume customer acquisition environments and you know how to move people from interest to action, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Engagement and Sales Outreach
-Proactively contact prospective students daily via phone, WhatsApp, and email
-Present academic programs clearly, confidently, and persuasively -Identify applicant needs, handle objections, and guide prospects toward application and enrollment
-Maintain a high level of responsiveness and follow-up discipline
Admissions Guidance and Application Support
-Walk applicants step-by-step through the admissions process
-Ensure applications are completed accurately and on time
-Review submissions and follow up on missing documents or information
-Communicate eligibility outcomes and next steps clearly
Enrollment Fee and Deposit Conversion
-Confidently explain enrollment fees and payment requirements
-Actively follow up to secure timely payments
-Coordinate with Finance to confirm payments and flag issues immediately
Relationship Management and Follow-Up
-Build trust and rapport through consistent, professional communication
-Use structured follow-ups to move leads through the pipeline
-Maintain momentum from first contact through enrollment
CRM and Reporting
-Log all interactions, application updates, and payment status accurately in the CRM
-Track lead progress and conversion outcomes
-Provide regular performance and pipeline updates to the Admissions Team Lead
Required Experience and Skills
1. Sales and Communication
-Minimum 2 years of proven experience in telesales, call centers, or high-volume customer sales
-Strong persuasive communication skills and confidence speaking with prospective clients
-Ability to handle objections, follow up persistently, and close
-Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
2. Technical and Organizational Skills
-Comfortable using CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
-Experience using WhatsApp, messaging tools, and email for sales communication
-Highly organized and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously
3. Work Style and Professionalism
-Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
-Able to work flexible hours to support students across different time zones
-Strong ethical standards and respect for data privacy
