SALARY:KSHS.25,000 PLUS COMMISSIONS
JOB LOCATION: MOMBASA ROAD AND REMOTE WORKING
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct high-volume outbound telesales calls to prospective business clients to generate new courier service accounts.
- Professionally handle inbound sales calls, inquiries, and lead follow-ups to maximize conversion rates.
- Qualify leads by understanding client shipping needs, volumes, locations, and service expectations.
- Present, promote, and sell courier and logistics solutions clearly and persuasively over the phone.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and pricing proposals to close sales.
- Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calls, leads, opportunities, and closed deals in the CRM system.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional courier services where applicable.
- Handle customer objections, complaints, and service concerns professionally, escalating where necessary.
- Work closely with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
- Follow up on dormant or inactive accounts to reactivate business.
- Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and feedback to the Sales Manager.
- Stay informed about company products, pricing structures, promotions, and competitor offerings.
- Adhere to company policies, sales scripts, and compliance requirements at all times.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in any field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Telesales, preferably within courier, logistics, FMCG, insurance, or service-based industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong phone-based selling and negotiation skills
- Experience handling both B2B outbound and inbound sales calls
