JOB PURPOSE
To design, quote, and book tour packages (domestic and/or international) for clients, without handling
flights or ticketing services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, strong destination
knowledge, and excellent customer service and organizational skills
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Engage with clients to understand their tour needs and preferences, focusing on tour packages
Design, customize, and quote tour itineraries that meet client specifications.
Book and coordinate all elements of tours, including accommodations, transfers, excursions,
and local guides.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of destinations, attractions, travel restrictions, and tour trends.
Communicate with suppliers, tour operators, and local service providers to ensure smooth tour
arrangements.
Prepare and send comprehensive tour documentation to clients (itineraries, vouchers, travel
tips, etc.).
Handle client queries and resolve issues before, during, or after travel in a timely and
professional manner.
Maintain client records and update booking systems accurately.
Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to team goals.
Attend tour fairs, product training, and familiarization trips as required.
Conduct market research to understand niche travel markets and seasonal trends, and develop
tailored tour packages accordingly.
Collaborate with the social media and marketing teams to create engaging offers and
destination itineraries for various target audiences.
Prepare accurate tour costings and ensure timely and organized filing of costing details in the
back-office system in alignment with confirmed travel plans.
Ensure all corporate bookings are supported by valid Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) or official
email requests before processing.
For walk-in clients, verify that full payment is received in advance in accordance with the
agreed travel itinerary and terms.
EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE SKILLS
Degree or diploma in Travel, Tourism, or Hospitality Management.
Proven experience as a Tours Consultant or in a similar role in the travel industry.
Strong knowledge of tour destinations, travel products, and local experiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in reservation and tour management softwares
Customer service-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
