JOB PURPOSE
To deliver exceptional tours planning and customer service by managing client inquiries, coordinating
bookings, developing tour packages, and driving business growth. The role involves ensuring
operational efficiency, fostering strong supplier and team relationships, and supporting marketing and
industry engagement to enhance the company’s tours services.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Client Communication & Service Delivery
Acknowledge all client emails and provide timelines for follow-up or delivery of options.
Provide clients with a minimum of three well-researched options for their travel inquiries.
Ensure all quotations are accurate, detailed, and submitted in a timely manner.
Deliver the highest level of service to clients and stakeholders, resolving all complaints within
24 hours.
2. Booking & Coordination
Ensure timely booking and confirmation of all services for accepted proposals.
Coordinate the tour booking process with relevant departments, including transport, accounts,
and travel.
3. Product Development
Develops compelling domestic and international travel packages with consultancy support
Suggest new travel routes and destinations of interest based on client preferences and market
trends.
4. Business Growth & Marketing
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, packages, and
destinations.
Support marketing efforts by leveraging new and existing channels (e.g., website, social media).
5. Supplier Relations & Negotiation
Negotiate competitive rates with suppliers, including contract rates for hotels and transport
providers, with consideration for seasonality, group travel, and loyalty programs.
6. Leadership & Team Management
Conduct monthly departmental meetings
Ensure team members are effectively assigned and supported in appropriate roles.
7. Industry Engagement
Represent the company at industry events, including conferences, workshops, fairs, and
seminars.
8. Assist in resolving client-related or operational issues as they arise.
9. Conduct market research to understand niche travel markets and seasonal trends, and
develop tailored tour packages accordingly.
10. Collaborate with the social media and marketing teams to create engaging offers and
destination itineraries for various target audiences.
EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Travel and Tourism, or related field
13 years relevant experience
Great sales and marketing ability
Superior knowledge of tourism-industry trends
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling travel documentation.
Passion for tours and enthusiasm for sharing travel experiences.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Flexibility to accommodate client needs, including after-hours support.
Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
