Job description:


•    Carry out inspections and on various properties and assets and produce valuations reports in a timely manner
•    Obtain official property searches and maps from respective government bodies
•    Check to confirm the purpose of the valuation – (sale, mortgage, insurance, book keeping, forced sale – foreclosure, house allowance etc.)
•    Ensuring valuation fees for the jobs undertaken are promptly collected and properly accounted for. Ensure the invoices are forwarded to client as per instructions
•    Assist in carrying out a market survey to compare prices in order to come up with a comparative value analysis
•    Obtain county land values and sales information about nearby properties in order to aid in establishment of property values
•    Compile information
•    Calculate property and asset values
•    Prepare invoice showing valuation fees as discussed
•    Build and maintain a strong network with other industry professionals and leverage this when conducting valuations in unfamiliar locations
•    Support the sales team with valuation guidance
•    Prepare tender and pre-qualification packs for valuation work and prepare applications and supporting documentation for application to be added on various valuation panels e.g. banks
•    Maintain impeccable ethics and integrity in all company affairs including valuations

•    Drafting Valuation reports for review, appraisal and future reference
•    Forward draft to Manager for review and approval
•    Make relevant changes as discussed and recommended by the Valuation Manager

Client service
•    Develop and maintain successful relationships with customers of valuation services
•    Build and strengthen relationships with Banks, Lawyers, Insurance companies, Accounting and other firms who regularly require valuations for clients or who refer clients
•    Managing caseloads efficiently, meeting targets as required through valuation documentation through prioritization of most pressing need to the least pressing
•    Handle client – communicate, receive instructions etc
•    Seek out new valuation business opportunities

•    Receive proper documentation – copy of the title, letter of instructions* (could be through email)
•    Ensure inspection documents are filed properly such as photos, measurements, property specifications in detail as required
•    Ensure the reports and invoices are forwarded to client as per instructions
•    Ensure all valuation and supporting documentation is filed correctly both in electronic and hard copy format (photos, location route plan, survey plan, copy of report, title, search copy, plans if given, mutation plans, survey maps etc)

•    From time to time produce research or market reports

•    Any other duties as assigned by manager / director
