Veterinary Officer/Animal Specialist - KAJULU

We are registered CBO of like minded professionals in Kajulu region with an aim of tapping the opportunities within and without the area for general development. We engage in general agriculture where we do commercial production of crops,fish,dairy and poultry farming.We also market for our farmers who are based in the region.

Monthly Salary (Gross): Kes. 33,000

Responsibilities:

°  Carrying out farm visits for assessments and follow-ups.

°  Communication with farmers to answer questions on birds’/farm situations.

°  Advising or educating farmers on disease management and treatment plans.

°  Administering vaccines and providing medication where farmers need our services.

°  Dispensing medicines and vaccines from our shelves.

°  Collaborate with assistants and other staff to provide quality care services.

°  Design and deliver training programs to stakeholders.

Successful candidates for this position Must meet the following qualifications:

°  A diploma (Minimum) in Animal health training.

°  2-3 years’ experience in a busy environment.

°  Must be registered by the Kenya Veterinary Board.

°  Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

°  Strong communication and customer service skills.

°  Outgoing and friendly attitude.
