Job summary

We are seeking a professional and customer service focused Waiter(ress) with at least 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry and a Food and Beverage Service Certificate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional dining services to guests, ensuring a pleasant and memorable experience while upholding the hotel’s quality standards.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
  • Upsell food and beverage options to maximize guest experience and revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Process guest payments and issue receipts as required.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve service standards.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Certificate or diploma in Food and Beverage Service or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a waiter in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
