DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.

·       Present menus, explain menu items, promotions, and make recommendations when requested.

·       Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar.

·       Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.

·       Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests or concerns.

·       Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently for the next guests.

·       Process customer bills and handle cash, card, and mobile payments accurately.

·       Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and work equipment.

·       Observe and maintain high standards of food safety, personal hygiene, and sanitation.

·       Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.

·       Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up dining areas and stock replenishment.

·       Report customer complaints, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.

·       Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.

·       Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and health and safety regulations.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

·       Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, or a related field.

·       Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a reputable hotel, restaurant, café, or hospitality establishment.

·       Training in food safety and hygiene will be an added advantage.

·       Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

·       Strong verbal communication skills.

·       Professional appearance and positive attitude.

·       Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
