Job Mission
Brighter Monday Kenya Limited, has designed a youth skilling and employment impact project to improve employability of the Kenyan youth aged 18 to 35 years and transition them into dignified employment. To support this goal, we seek a Workforce Development Associate. Your mission is to ensure you identify, develop, and administer strategic partnerships with other organizations to realize key objectives, gain operational efficiencies, address unmet market needs, to achieve placement numbers and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Oversight
● Lead the Workforce Development team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and performance targets.
● Develop and implement strategies to improve job placements and employer partnerships nationwide.
● Provide mentorship and performance oversight for the Specialist-Employer Engagement, Specialist-Entrepreneurial Development Associate, and Specialist-Placement Tracking.
● Monitor and evaluate key workforce development programs, ensuring effectiveness and impact.
Employer & Stakeholder Engagement
● Establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with government entities, NGOs, corporate organizations, and industry leaders to enhance employability and job placement initiatives.
● Identify and secure partnerships with white-collar, blue-collar, and pink-collar employers to facilitate bulk hiring and skills development.
● Advocate for workforce development initiatives that prioritize women (80%), Persons with Disabilities (5%), and Internally Displaced Persons (5%).
● Represent Jobberman in high-level industry meetings, policy discussions, and conferences related to workforce development.
Workforce Program Development & Expansion
● Design and implement initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of Jobberman’s job centers and call centers.
● Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to expand access to soft skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship training programs.
● Identify new opportunities to scale workforce development initiatives across focus states and the nation at large.
● Drive continuous improvement in job placement tracking and employer engagement models.
Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting
● Oversee placement tracking mechanisms to ensure accurate data collection and reporting on employment outcomes.
● Ensure high-quality reporting to internal stakeholders and external partners on workforce development impact.
● Utilize data analytics to assess program effectiveness, track KPIs, and refine strategies for improved placement rates.
● Provide detailed progress reports and insights to the executive leadership team.
Call Center & Job Center Performance Optimization
● Supervise the operations of call centers and job centers, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
● Develop strategies to increase job listings, employer participation, and placement success rates.
● Ensure call center agents and job center agents adhere to quality assurance standards and call scripts.

Key Skills & Competencies
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s in social sciences or its related field from a recognized institution.
Experience:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
● Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in workforce development, business development, partnerships, or employment services.
● Strong understanding of labor market trends, workforce development policies, and employer needs.
