Barista Mixologist

Le Café Jeu is hiring dynamic and cross-functional team members for its new board

game café at The Hub Karen, Nairobi. We are looking for versatile, reliable, and hands-

on professionals to support daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations, with a

positive attitude, cheerful personality and good team spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cross-trained to operate both barista counter and mixology bar stations based on

rush periods and shift needs.

• Prepare hot and cold coffee drinks, teas, signature mocktails, cocktails, and seasonal

beverages following recipe standards.

• Calibrate, clean, and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, draft systems,

and bar tools daily.

• Monitor and restock beans, dairy, syrups, garnishes, spirits, fresh juices, and glass-

ware at both stations.

• Maintain strict sanitation standards and assist guests with drink recommendations.

• Maintain an attractive, organized, and inviting service counter while ensuring prompt

and consistent service.

• Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless communication, timely order

delivery, and excellent guest satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

► 2–3 years of experience as a Barista, Bartender, or Mixologist in a fast-paced envi-

ronment.

► Certification or formal training in barista skills or mixology/bartending is preferred.

► Strong skills in espresso extraction, latte art, and cocktail/mocktail preparation.

► Passionate about interacting with people, building rapport, remembering guest

preferences, and making customers feel genuinely welcome.
