Description
Allied Talent Partners (ATP), a Three Cairns Group initiative, is a mission-driven, not-for-profit talent marketplace focused on solving the human capital bottlenecks slowing down sustainable development efforts in emerging economies, with an initial focus on Africa. ATP connects vetted, experienced, context-relevant professionals to high-impact opportunities in energy access and sustainable development - strengthening local capacity and fuelling economic vitality. We specialize in fixed-term, deliverable-driven engagements - from interim leadership and generalist projects to niche technical expertise - handling project scoping, talent vetting and matching, contracting, payroll, and compliance so that our clients can focus on impact.
As our work continues to scale across Francophone Africa, we are seeking a dynamic Bilingual (French/English) Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead sourcing, vetting, and candidate management for French-speaking consultants and experts. This role is essential to ensuring ATP continues to deliver high-quality talent to clients across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Role Description
This position sits at the core of ATP’s talent acquisition engine. The successful candidate will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for French-speaking experts, proactively build and maintain talent pipelines, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience across all stages of the process.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate closely with the other members of the Talent Acquisition team, Project Delivery team, and other internal stakeholders to understand client needs, develop tailored sourcing strategies, and drive efficient, high-quality placements. The role requires excellent communication in both French and English, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and interview qualified French-speaking experts for fixed-term, deliverables-based opportunities across Africa
  • Translate and develop French-language materials such as role descriptions, outreach messages, Terms of Reference, project briefs, and candidate profiles
  • Build and maintain strong talent pools within internal systems (e.g. ATS) to meet current and future recruitment needs
  • Manage candidate outreach, communication, and process updates to ensure clarity, efficiency, and an excellent candidate experience
  • Own the full recruitment cycle for assigned roles - from sourcing to shortlisting to placement recommendations
  • Draft high-quality candidate profiles and summaries that accurately reflect consultant expertise and alignment with client needs
  • Ensure ATS data accuracy, process consistency, and compliance with internal SLAs
  • Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team to optimize sourcing strategies and refine recruitment processes.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Native or near-native fluency in French
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French (Professional fluency in English is a must)
  • Preferably based in Nairobi, with the ability to work in a hybrid setup (minimum of 3 days per week in the office)
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in talent acquisition and project coordination or consulting
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple workstreams
  • Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Other Characteristics:

  • Experience recruiting for roles in Francophone Africa
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. Human Resources, Development, Business Management)
  • Ability to thrive within a highly dynamic and fast-moving start-up
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g. PinPoint, Bullhorn), Microsoft Office, and CRM tools
  • Experience working across multiple markets in Africa is an added advantage
