- Construct, assemble, and install wooden frameworks, furniture, doors, and fixtures.
- Cut, shape, and join wood materials using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and measurements.
- Take accurate measurements and calculate material requirements.
- Smooth, sand, and finish wood surfaces for final installation.
- Apply varnish, paint, or protective coatings as required.
- Operate carpentry tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Maintain tools and report damaged or faulty equipment.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Work closely with supervisors, designers, and other site workers.
- Report progress, challenges, and material needs promptly.
- Work across different project sites as required.
- Be willing to travel, relocate, or work overtime when needed.
- Proven experience in tiling and general masonry work.
- Proven hands-on carpentry experience in construction or furniture work.
- Ability to use carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- KCSE or equivalent education level.
- Carpentry certification or vocational training is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Good teamwork and reliability on site.
