Job Title: F&B Cost Controller
Location: Nairobi
Industry: Hospitality – Hotel
Salary: KES 35,000 – 40,000
Work Schedule: 6 days per week
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and control all F&B costs to ensure profitability and minimal wastage
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly food & beverage cost reports
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliations
• Verify store issues, transfers, and receiving processes
• Ensure proper costing of recipes, menus, and beverages
• Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions
• Work closely with purchasing, kitchen, and accounts departments
• Enforce strict internal control systems and standard operating procedures
• Check and validate supplier invoices against LPOs and delivery notes
• Monitor portion control and wastage in production areas
Qualifications & Experience
• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field
• MUST HAVE 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a hotel or F&B establishment
• Proven experience in costing, stores, and inventory control
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Proficiency in Excel and POS/stock management systems
