Company Overview: Our Company is a division of a Middle East–based group specializing in corporate cleaning and restoration services is seeking a highly organized and proactive Head of Operations to join our team. The position will be based at our Westlands office. Candidates with prior experience in cleaning and restoration services will be given preference.
Job Purpose: The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, service delivery, team performance, and operational growth of the company. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality cleaning and restoration services, efficient resource management, customer satisfaction, and scalability of operations across Nairobi and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end cleaning and restoration operations (residential, commercial, post construction, water/fire damage, deep cleaning, etc.).
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise cleaning and restoration teams.
- Ensure staff productivity, discipline, and adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
- Build a strong performance-driven culture.
- Implement quality assurance systems and conduct regular site inspections.
- Handle escalations, complaints, and client feedback professionally.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Manage equipment, chemicals, tools, vehicles, and inventory.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Optimize operational costs and minimize wastage.
- Support business expansion by improving efficiency and scalability.
- Work closely with sales and management teams on pricing, service packages, and operational feasibility.
- Prepare operational reports, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Enforce workplace safety and proper use of PPE
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Candidates with existing clientele will be preferred
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in operations management, in cleaning, facilities management, hospitality, or restoration services.
- Proven experience managing large teams and multiple sites.
- Strong understanding of cleaning processes, chemicals, equipment, and restoration workflows is an added advantage.
