JOB SUMMARY
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field3 to 4 years of proven HR experience specifically within the hospitality industryCertified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) certification is an added advantageStrong communication and interpersonal skills suited for a service environmentExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced settingSound knowledge of the Kenyan Employment Act
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee end-to-end HR operations including onboarding & orientation for new hires, contracts, payroll coordination, leave management, and employee recordsEnsure accurate maintenance of personnel files in compliance with Kenya Employment Act, 2007 and Data Protection Act, 2019Assisting with staff training and performance management cyclesAssist with recruitment (job postings, screening, interview scheduling)Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processesHandle disciplinary hearings, terminations, and dispute resolution professionallyCoordinate training programsOversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal regulationsConduct regular audits of HR practices to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
REQUIRED SKILLS
Labour/employment law, Organize and manage recruitment campaigns, Employee guidelines and onboarding, Compensation and benefits, Reporting, Human resource and personnel development
REQUIRED EDUCATION
