We are seeking a qualified and experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee materials testing for a road construction project involving upgrading to bitumen standards.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities;
- Manage and supervise all laboratory operations related to materials testing.
- Conduct and oversee tests on soils, aggregates, bitumen, concrete, and asphalt as per relevant standards.
- Ensure proper sampling procedures, accurate test results, and timely reporting.
- Maintain calibration and proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in the laboratory.
- Prepare and maintain detailed test reports and documentation for project records.
- Liaise with project engineers and site teams to ensure material specifications are met.
Qualification and Experience;
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a materials testing laboratory for road construction projects, specifically involving upgrading to bitumen standards.
- Proven knowledge of testing standards (BS, ASTM, AASHTO, KS, etc.).
- Experience in managing laboratory operations and supervising a team.
