Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in routine and preventive maintenance of locomotives and track machines
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults and propose solutions
- Support repair works and overhaul activities under supervision
- Participate in installation, testing, and calibration of mechanical or electrical systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to safety, engineering, and quality standards
- Work closely with senior engineers, supervisors, and workshop teams
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in both workshop and field environments
Added Advantage:
- Internship/industrial attachment in rail maintenance, heavy machinery, or manufacturing
- Understanding of locomotive systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics
