JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the overall production of bakery products (breads, pastries), training and supervision of bakers and overseeing quality, providing a structured, coaching-oriented management style.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing pastries for hotelMixing and baking ingredients according to recipesPastry baker will prepare and bake different types of pastriesPastry bakers will check the quality of the ingredients and make sure the equipment is working properlyMeasure, mix and combine various ingredients to create dough that is then rolled, shaped and baked into the desired product.Then they will finish the product with glaze or decorativeCleaning and restocking work areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensilsTaking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, or behind the counterAdhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls company rules and regulationsMaintain cleanliness of the bakery and equipment on daily basisEnsuring that the (HACCP) is adhered to on a daily basis by all members of staffAdherence to CompanyPolicies on Personal Grooming

REQUIRED SKILLS

Cakes, pastries and confectionary, Customer comfort and safety, Stock and inventory management, Meeting preparation, Hotel management

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Diploma, Associate's degree
