• Conduct comprehensive inspections of properties to assess pest activity, identify species, and determine optimal treatment strategies.
• Expertly prepare, dilute, and apply pesticides in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, safety protocols, and local regulations.
• Calculate precise chemical ratios and calibrate equipment for safe and effective application.
• Develop and execute customized integrated pest management (IPM) plans, prioritizing client needs and environmental safety.
• Educate clients on preventive measures, chemical safety, and post-treatment protocols to mitigate future risks.
• Maintain rigorous documentation of inspections, treatments, chemical usage, and client communications via company software.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot pest control equipment (e.g., sprayers, bait stations) and company vehicles.
• Stay current with advancements in pesticide technology, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Enforce strict compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) standards and occupational safety guidelines.• Resolve client concerns promptly, ensuring high satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve operational excellence and uphold service quality.
Qualifications:
• Diploma/Degree in Agriculture, Entomology, Environmental Science, or equivalent certification/training.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on pest control experience, with demonstrated expertise in pesticide usage, dilution, and application.
• Valid pest control license/certification as mandated by local authorities.
• In-depth knowledge of pesticide chemistry, toxicity levels, and safe handling procedures.
• Proficiency in interpreting Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and applying safety protocols.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose pest behavior and tailor solutions effectively.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in physically demanding environments (lifting, climbing, confined spaces).
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills, with a client-centric approach.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) or eco-friendly pest control methods.
• Experience managing diverse pest species (rodents, insects, termites, wildlife).
• Familiarity with organic or low-toxicity treatment solutions.
