Recruitment AssociateLocation: Nairobi
Job Purpose: Talent Grid Africa, is seeking to hire a Recruitment Associate to join our consultancy team. This is an entry‑level position ideal for someone eager to begin a career in talent acquisition and human resources. The Recruitment Associate will support the end‑to‑end recruitment process, help build talent pipelines, and ensure a smooth candidate experience from sourcing to placement.
Key Responsibilities


  • Proactively source potential candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and other channels.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
  • Engage with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and positive candidate experience.
  • Review applications and screen candidates to assess suitability based on job requirements
  • Coordinate and conduct initial candidate assessments as required.
  • Schedule and manage interview logistics with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or CRM.
  • Support generation of recruitment reports and metrics for internal review and project tracking.
  • Assist in preparing offer documentation and follow up on required paperwork.
  • Work collaboratively with recruitment consultants, HR teams, and hiring managers to ensure alignment on candidate requirements and recruitment strategy.
  • Manage multiple recruitment assignments concurrently and deliver quality results within deadlines.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in recruitment, HR, or talent acquisition (consultancy/recruitment agency experience is an advantage).
  • Strong ability to handle pressure, multitask, and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
