The holding company oversees KCB Kenya – incorporated with effect from January 1, – and all KCB’s regional units in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia and South Sudan. It also owns KCB Insurance Agency, KCB Capital, KCB Foundation and all associate companies. The holding company was set up to among other things to enhance the Group’s capacity to access unrestricted capital and also enable investment in new ventures outside banking regulations, achieve operational and strategic autonomy for the Group’s operating entities and enhance corporate governance across the Group and oversight in management of subsidiaries.Key Responsibilities Monitor and control pre 90 days Retail Credit Portfolio throughout the Region to ensure that the Asset Quality is maintained and improved (PAR, Migration & Vintage) to within acceptable thresholds.Develop, recommend and implement strategies to ensure that the accounts under watch category are upgraded to normal in line with CBK regulations and Bank policy.Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies, regulatory requirements and best practice in the monitoring and control process with a view to minimizing Credit Risk.Support review, from time to time, of Credit policies and processes governing lending in the Bank.Coaching and training of Credit handling staff in the Region.Ensure review of Portfolio Returns submitted by Branches for appropriate action.Tracking of credit audit action plans.Co-ordinate regular customer visits to check on compliance, remedial management and offer appropriate interventions.Proactive oversight on debt collection exercise, waivers of arrears & restructuring, re-classification, re-establishment/re-opening of new MG contracts, and write offs within the delegated limits.Responsible for performance and consequence management for portfolio staff. The PersonFor the above position, the successful applicant should have the following: Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline from a recognized university.At Least 8 years’ experience inAt Least 5 years’ experience in Stakeholder ManagementAt Least 3 years’ experience in People Management
