RESTAURANT MANAGER

1.Operational Management:

• Develop and implement effective operational strategies to achieve restaurant goals, especially turnover  target

2.Oversee daily operations,

• Including staff management, inventory control, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations.

3.Financial Management:

• Develop and manage the restaurant's budget.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
• Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional activities.

4.Customer Experience:

• Create and maintain a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for guests.
• Train and develop staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

5.Team Leadership:

• Develop and implement staff training programs.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.

6.Marketing and Sales:

• Develop and execute marketing and promotional plans to increase customer foot traffic.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
• Leverage social media and other digital platforms to enhance brand visibility.

7.Menu Development:

• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and maintain a unique and appealing menu.
• Ensure food quality and consistency.
• Stay updated on food trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-volume, upscale restaurant.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in financial management and analysis.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage operations.
• Passion for the hospitality industry.

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of the Nairobi CBD market and its clientele.
• Experience in managing a team of diverse individuals.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
