Job Summary

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth and increase brand awareness for the hotel. This role involves identifying target markets, building relationships with clients, and overseeing promotional activities to attract guests and maximize occupancy.

Job Description/Requirements

1. Sales Strategy:

• Develop sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue targets for rooms, event spaces, and other hotel amenities.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and partnerships with local businesses and organizations.

• Maintain a pipeline of leads and prospects, nurturing relationships and converting them into sales opportunities.


2. Marketing Campaigns:

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote the hotel's offerings, including digital advertising, email marketing, social media, and traditional marketing channels.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative assets, such as brochures, flyers, and promotional materials, to support marketing initiatives.

• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results and ROI.


3. Brand Management:

• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and communication materials, adhering to brand guidelines and standards.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with media partners, influencers, and industry stakeholders to enhance the hotel's visibility and reputation.


4. Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

• Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.


5. Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats in the market.

• Use market insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for growth and innovation.


6. Event Management:

• Coordinate with the events team to promote and sell event spaces for weddings, conferences, meetings, and other special occasions.

• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads and build relationships with event planners and organizers.


7. Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.

• Track expenses and revenue performance, preparing regular reports and forecasts for senior management.


Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

• Proven experience in sales and marketing roles within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.

• Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and techniques.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

• Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, digital marketing tools, and analytics platforms.

• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
