Job Summary

Our client, an ICT company located in Nairobi is seeking to fill the positions of Sales Representative in various regions within the country. The main duty will be Lead Generation which will involve recruiting and managing the area sales for different products as presented through direct sales, product awareness, Marketing & Branding.

  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma
  • Experience Level: Entry level
  • Experience Length: 1 year

Job Description/Requirements

Salary: Kshs. 20,000 plus commissions upon meeting targets.


Requirements:

• A minimum of diploma in Business Administration or sales and marketing

• Proven customer service, negotiation, and sales skills

• The ability to work independently and travel as needed

• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in a similar position

• Team player with excellent communication skills.

• Attention to detail, problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.

• High standards of ethics and values.

• Access to a laptop/internet will be an added advantage.

• Updated resume, cover letter and copies of testimonials


Duties and responsibilities:

• Generate sales leads and sell in the assigned geographical location.

• You will be in charge of all Sales/marketing function within the region allocated.

• You must understand the products & services  in detail to enable you to effectively market them

• You will be required to liaise with the finance manager so as to get the necessary funds needed for branding/marketing events e.tc

• You will be obligated to approach city council offices to have flyers stamped, to acquire billboard space as instructed by the MD whenever necessary.

• Market Feedback- You will be required to have an ear on the ground for upcoming events/ exhibitions/expos to ensure efficient planning and advise on which ones are most crucial to attend, and also competitor’s actions.

• You will be in charge of setting up for events and liaising with event handlers in terms of space for exhibition.

• You will be required to send weekly reports to the Assigned Account Manager every Friday.

• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management.
