Our client, a leading beer & spirits distributor, is looking for a Salesman or Salesman /Driver to join their team. (If driver must have license class C1 or above)
This role is responsible for selling products, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring smooth sales and service operations in retail accounts.
Location: Nairobi
Salary: KES 21,000 – 24,000 (Gross) – Retainer 50% & 50% based on performance within achievable targets. Commission based on achievable competitive well defined KPIs
Key Responsibilities:
• Load products onto the truck daily before dispatch
• Sell through a data management system
• Meet and exceed sales volume targets
• Ensure product visibility and adherence to Minimum Product Assortment (MPA) per segment
• Follow assigned selling routes and schedules
• Reconcile stock and collections at the end of each day
• Attend strategy meetings and contribute to sales planning
• Perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Sales Experience – Previous experience in FMCG (especially beverages) is an added advantage
• Education – O-Level Certificate or a Diploma in Sales & Marketing
• Skills – Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Physical Ability – Must be able to lift heavy loads
• Proactive & Goal-Oriented – Ability to identify new sales opportunities and acquire new customers
• Driver Requirements (if applying as a driver) – Must have a valid driving license and be able to drive trucks of 10 tons & above
