Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of our software products.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
- Design and implement automated testing procedures to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.
- Document and report defects, issues, and test results in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on potential quality issues early in the development process.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance and testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
