We are seeking a Tax Manager to lead client engagements, manage complex tax matters, and support the firm’s growth at a senior professional level.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Technical Leadership
• Lead tax advisory engagements across corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and international taxation
• Provide practical, defensible tax advice to local and multinational clients
• Review and sign-off complex tax computations, opinions, and advisory deliverables
Tax Compliance & Risk Management
• Oversee tax compliance for key clients, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment
• Identify and manage tax risks, exposures, and planning opportunities
• Support clients during KRA audits, objections, and tax dispute resolution
Transfer Pricing & Cross-Border Tax
• Support preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation
• Advise on related-party transactions, permanent establishment risk, and cross-border structuring
Internal Leadership
• Mentor junior tax consultants and reviewers
• Support business development through technical input into proposals and pitches
• Contribute to internal knowledge development and technical excellence
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Professional qualification required (CPA, ACCA, Advocate of the High Court, or equivalent)
• 6–8 years’ experience in tax advisory, audit, or a reputable professional services firm
• Strong working knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and KRA practice
• Experience handling audits, objections, and advisory assignments
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and client-management skills
