Job summary

We are a company operating in Kenya dealing with animal health products. We are looking for a technical sales Rep to fill the position in the company.

The person should facilitate the identification & training of new/retraining of the existing stockist about our products.

Promote or establish development of a network for supply and distribution of animal health products.

Scope of work.

  • Successful candidate shall be responsible for sales, marketing & business development of animal nutrition products and veterinary equipments.
  • Training of context competent but low level education sales people to requisite competency for the level of tasks, and their effective supervision to accomplish assignments by managing, coordinating & motivating them to achieve required sales targets.
  • Report to the general Manager.
  • Development of appropriate tools of assessment with valid measurements and analytical qualities to maximize the productive & performance of sales and marketing functions.
  • Make sales plan and execution.
  • Market research and analysis of the sales data & information, & translation of the same into content for communication of finding & recommendation to the company.
  • Facilitate integration with other departments.
  • Analyze & evaluate the effectiveness of the sales methods, costs, & results.

Qualification.

  • College degree in veterinary/animal sciences.
  • MUST be registered by Kenya veterinary board.
  • Sales experience of at least 2 years.
  • Outgoing personality.
  • Fluency & command in spoken & written English.
  • Knowledge/familiar with all Ms Office soft wares.
  • Driving skills a MUST with a clean driving license class BCE.

  • Ability & desire to sell.
  • Resilience & capacity to cope with rejection.
  • Organizational skills & ability to work with little or NO supervision.
