Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians with the installation and application of various waterproofing systems, including membranes, coatings, sealants, and drainage systems.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and priming as needed to ensure effective waterproofing.
- Mix and apply waterproofing materials according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections to determine areas requiring waterproofing and report findings to senior technicians or project managers.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to water leaks and moisture infiltration.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition and ensure they are properly stored.
- Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisors or project managers.
- Assist in the transport and handling of materials and equipment to and from job sites.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in waterproofing or related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of waterproofing materials, techniques, and tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, standing, reaching, and bending for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from more experienced technicians.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed.
