Accountant

Job Location :  Eastern By Pass  , Nairobi .

Salary   :  Ksh 50,000 .

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  
• Maintain general ledger and perform account reconciliations.
  
• Manage cost accounting for raw materials, labour, and factory overheads.
  
• Monitor production variances, wastage, and profitability.
  
• Oversee inventory accounting (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).
  
• Prepare and file statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, Withholding Tax).
  
• Liaise with external auditors and the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
  
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls.
  
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• 
  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  
• CPA (K) / ACCA qualification.
  
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably food processing.
  
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems.
  
• Sound understanding of Kenyan tax and statutory regulations.
  
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
