Job Summary

We are looking for a Barista with retail sales & marketing experience

  • Minimum Qualification : Diploma
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Barista Responsibilities :

  • Greet customers as they enter
  • Take customers orders while paying attention to details
  • Prepare beverages following recipes
  • Serve beverages and prepared food
  • Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
  • Keep the bar area clean
  • Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
  • Comply with health and safety regulations
  • Communicate customer feedback to supervisors


Sales Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales leads
  • Drive sales through engagement and sharing product knowledge.
  • Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
  • Conduct price comparisons to facilitate purchasing
  • Cross-sell products
  • Manage dispatch, delivery and returns of roasted coffee &merchandise
  • Share quotations & organizing events
  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers
  • After-sales services
  • Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services
  • Explore advertising or branding opportunities for the brand in creative ways
  • Coordinate with the team to provide excellent customer service


Requirements and skills

  • Must love coffee.
  • Understanding of the retail sales process
  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative or similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to deliver within strict timelines.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong administrative and organization skills.
  • Creative, proactive with a positive attitude.
  • An entrepreneurial mind-set with excellent organizational and leadership skills.


University / College qualification

  • Diploma in Marketing or related field is a plus
