Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and menu standards
• Ensure food is prepared and presented in a clean, hygienic, and timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations at all times
• Assist in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Monitor food portions and waste control
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries
• Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Support other kitchen staff and work collaboratively to ensure efficient service
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Supervisor
Qualifications & Skills:
• Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or a related field
• Previous experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment is preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Flexible to work extended hours, weekends, and public holidays
• High standards of cleanliness, personal hygiene, and kitchen safety
Working Hours:
• Rotational shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on business needs
