We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee all contractual, commercial, and legal aspects of our construction projects.
Role Overview
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing contracts, ensuring compliance, and protecting the company’s commercial interests across all projects. You will play a key role in handling negotiations, variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage construction contracts and agreements
- Oversee tendering processes and contract negotiations
- Manage contract administration, variations, and claims
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and legal requirements
- Identify risks and provide mitigation strategies
- Handle disputes, negotiations, and resolutions
- Liaise with legal advisors, project managers, and stakeholders
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and records
- Provide commercial advice to senior management
Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in contract management within construction or infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC or similar)
- Experience in tendering, claims, and dispute resolution
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Understanding of legal and commercial frameworks
