DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prompt and Safe Delivery of Packages

Ensure all packages are delivered to customers on time and in excellent condition. Follow assigned delivery schedules closely and prioritize urgent deliveries as instructed.

Route Planning and Time Management

Plan daily routes using maps or navigation apps to identify the fastest and most fuel- efficient paths. Adapt routes based on real-time traffic, weather, or road closures to avoid delays.

Professional Communication

Maintain clear, polite, and timely communication with dispatchers and customers. Notify relevant parties in case of delays, failed deliveries, or special instructions.

Careful Handling of Goods

Handle all items with care during pickup, transport, and delivery to prevent loss or

damage. Follow specific handling procedures for fragile, perishable, or high-value items.

Collection of Payments or Confirmations

Where applicable, collect payments from customers accurately and issue receipts. Secure proper delivery confirmation, such as digital signatures or photo proof, to verify successful delivery.

Motorcycle Maintenance and Cleanliness

Keep the delivery motorcycle clean, presentable, and in good working condition. Conduct regular checks on tires, brakes, oil, and lights. Report any mechanical issues immediately for repair.

Adherence to Safety and Legal Regulations

Obey all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety regulations. Wear appropriate safety gear, such as a helmet and reflective clothing, at all times. Comply fully with company policies and delivery standards.

Reporting Issues and Handling Challenges

Immediately report incidents such as accidents, damaged goods, route problems, or customer complaints to supervisors. Work with the support team to resolve issues quickly and professionally.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Valid motorcycle driving license (Class A)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in delivery or courier services
• Own motorcycle (preferred) or willing to use company motorcycle
• Good knowledge of Gigiri and surrounding areas
• Familiar with navigation tools like Google Maps or Waze
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must be punctual, honest, and responsible
• Physically fit and able to manage light lifting if required
• Able to use a smartphone for delivery app updates or communication
