Her Future Flame is seeking a Female Program Intern (Person with Disability) to support implementation of community-based Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion programs in Homa Bay County. The internship offers hands-on experience in grassroots programming, youth leadership development, menstrual health advocacy and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Support planning and implementation of community programs
• Participate in school outreach sessions and community dialogues
• Assist in mobilization of participants and local stakeholders
• Support activity documentation, reporting and learning processes
• Promote inclusive values and act as a community ambassador
Requirements
• Young woman with a disability aged 18–30
• Resident in or able to relocate to Homa Bay County specifically Homa Town Sub County
• Background in community development, social sciences or related field is an added advantage
• Demonstrated interest in gender equality, disability inclusion and community engagement
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse communities and take initiative
• Basic documentation and reporting skills
