Key Responsibilities
- Player Behavior Analysis: Segment users by lifetime value, analyze churn rates, and identify patterns that lead to higher player engagement.
- Risk & Fraud Detection: Monitor betting patterns to flag match-fixing, bonus abuse, syndicates, and suspicious transactional behavior.
- Marketing & ROI Tracking: Measure the effectiveness of acquisition campaigns, promotional bonuses, and affiliate network performance.
- Sportsbook & Odds Analytics: Analyze margin performance, track payout liabilities, and identify sports categories driving the highest gross gaming revenue (GGR).
- Dashboarding & Reporting: Build automated SQL-driven dashboards and Tableau/Power BI visualizations for executive decision-making.
- A/B Testing: Evaluate user experience changes on the betting platform to optimize the conversion funnel from registration to first deposit.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, IT or Computer Science.
- Technical Skills: proficiency in SQL for data extraction and Python or R for statistical analysis.
- Soft Skills: Ability to translate complex statistical models into simple business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
