Summit Recruitment and Search Africa is a leading Recruitment and Executive Search agency head quartered in Kenya providing outstanding talent to a wide range of companies and NGOs in various business sectors across Africa.

Our client, an established hotel is looking to recruit a Junior Sales and Marke ter . The candidate will play a pivotal role in increasing brand awareness and driving revenue growth and for the hotel. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, demonstrating a proven track record of successful strategies and initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners. Plan, execute, and analyse marketing campaigns to promote the brand and attract new customers. Utilize digital marketing, social media, and other channels to enhance the hotelâs online presence. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities. Organize and host promotional events to engage with potential clients and partners. Develop and manage the sales, marketing budget effectively and Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective strategies. Generate regular reports on sales and marketing performance and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Requirements

Must have 2 years of experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry. Must have a bachelorâs degree in marketing, Business, or a related field. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Proficiency with marketing tools and experience in digital marketing Strong knowledge of market trends and competitor activities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
