About the Role:
Our Client a market leader in the industry is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Market Survey Enumerators for an upcoming short-term data collection project in Nairobi. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced marketing professionals looking for an intensive 2-month engagement. You will be responsible for collecting high-quality, accurate data from target respondents across specified locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Gathering: Collecting information via surveys, interviews, or online research.
- Data Input & Management: Recording and organizing data in databases, spreadsheets, or specialized software.
- Verification & Quality Control: Ensuring data accuracy, validity, and completeness, as well as checking for inconsistencies or errors.
- Reporting: Preparing, summarizing, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Protocol Adherence: Following data security, privacy, and confidentiality guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- Proven experience in marketing or market research.
- Attention to Detail: Critical for ensuring the accuracy of data.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), data management software, and sometimes smartphone apps.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills for conducting interviews and reporting findings.
- Organization & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Must have previous experience conducting similar market surveys or data collection exercises within Nairobi County.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with mobile data collection tools (ODK, SurveyCTO, Kobo Toolbox, etc.) is a strong advantage.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
Personal Specifications:
- Residency: Must be a current resident of Nairobi and with its geography and administrative divisions.
- Availability: Ready to start immediately and commit to the full 2-month duration of the project.
