We are looking for a passionate Marketing Officer to plan and oversee the organization’s marketing activities and campaigns. Job Description/Requirements
We are a FMCG manufacturer and distributor based in Nairobi, Kenya for the past 65 years specializing in the manufacturing of various food products such as ice creams, yogurts, Sauce and chocolate products.
Key Roles, Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Managing and developing advertising and marketing campaigns on variety of media (Social, Print etc)
- Managing and leading a team of Brand Ambassadors for marketing activities
- Conducting promotional activities at key outlets (e.g. Wet Sampling etc)
- Analyze sales data and prepare relevant reports for review
- Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness
- See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics
- Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
- Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
- Support the marketing manager in overseeing the department’s operations
Qualifications / Requirements / Skills
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Marketing/Sales/Business Administration or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a marketing role
- Proven experience as marketing officer or similar role
- Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
- Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Application (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point)
- Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- A team player with a customer-oriented approach
