The School is searching for qualified, dynamic and motivated people to fill the following position:

Operations Director:

This is an exciting role within the Senior Leadership team. The person will be responsible for the management of the school operations and office facilities. This position will oversee the office facilities, a vibrant housekeeping team, a committed security team amongst other support services. Other duties include:-

  • To manage the facility staff (transport, mechanics, housekeeping, security and kitchen staff). This includes providing appropriate level of staff training, setting performance benchmarks managing staff career development, managing facility work schedules, and identifying areas for improvement, and Annual Performance Evaluations.
  • Regularly update the budgets related to the operations department and provide justification for financial spend.
  • To conduct regular meetings (weekly or biweekly) with facility staff to discuss various issues in facility operation.
  • To interact with users to discuss needs, technical issues and fulfil the mission of the facility by providing expeditious, effective technical support to the users.
  • To serve as the initial point person to address users’ concerns and conflicts.
  • To meet regularly with the Managing Director to discuss, new technologies, career development, personnel management, and operational issues.
  • To work with various committees to plan for future space expansion, changes in use of facilities etc.
  • To work with the Finance staff to gain complete understanding of the facility financials and be directly involved in the frugal management of resources to ensure the financial health of the facilities.
  • Any other business as assigned from time to time
