Job summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator to support the Quality Assurance function. The successful candidate will ensure that all products and processes meet established standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging for conformity to specifications.
  • Sample and analyze in-process and finished products to verify quality standards.
  • Conduct monthly Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) inspections on the production floor.
  • Investigate customer complaints and prepare Corrective Action (CA) reports.
  • Review, update, and maintain Quality Assurance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control results, inspections, and deviations.
  • Update and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and process steps.
  • Support compliance with KEBS certification and other statutory/legal requirements.
  • Participate in product enhancement activities, including trials for new or improved products.
  • Perform in-line quality checks to promptly identify and address defects.
  • Conduct equipment cleaning inspections per schedule.
  • Oversee mixing processes to ensure product consistency and identify improvements.
  • Maintain retention samples for all production batches.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or aviation industries.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and quality assurance principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and reporting abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High attention to detail and commitment to product and process quality.
