- Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections of personalized cards to detect any aesthetic flaws or operational defects, ensuring every card meets our premium standards.
- Rigorously verify personalization accuracy; including cardholder name, Primary Account Number (PAN), expiry date, and CVV; as well as overall print quality against precise customer specification sheets.
- Accurately identify, document, and categorize defects and non-conformities, maintaining detailed logs to facilitate robust tracking and root-cause analysis.
- Escalate quality concerns and recurring defects promptly to the relevant production and engineering teams, ensuring immediate corrective and preventive actions are initiated.
- Maintain meticulous, accurate, and complete quality inspection records and logs, ensuring full traceability and readiness for internal and external audits.
- Ensure full compliance with all customer requirements, international regulatory standards, and industry security protocols (including PCI DSS) throughout the inspection process.
- Actively support internal quality audits and investigations by providing comprehensive inspection data, process insights, and historical defect trends.
- Monitor and verify strict adherence to approved production and personalization procedures at every stage of the manufacturing process.
- Verify product traceability and ensure all accompanying documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed in line with quality management systems.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas to enhance quality standards, optimize processes, and drive down defect rates.
- Support defect trend analysis by compiling data and preparing detailed quality performance reports for management review.
- Champion a culture of quality excellence across all production operations, fostering a &;right first time; philosophy among cross-functional teams.
- Education: A Bachelors Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline, such as Quality Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in quality control, quality assurance, or inspection roles, ideally within a production, manufacturing, or banking services environment. Experience with card personalization, secure document inspection, or high-security printing is a distinct advantage.
- Impeccable Attention to Detail: You can spot microscopic errors in print, embossing, or encoding that others would easily overlook.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify the root causes of defects and suggest practical, actionable solutions.
- Integrity & Objectivity: You provide an unbiased assessment of quality, with a strong sense of personal accountability.
- Patience & Methodical Approach: You can perform repetitive inspections for extended periods without compromising speed or accuracy.
- Communication: Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and liaising effectively with production teams.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for record keeping, data entry, and generating comprehensive quality reports.
- Inspection Tools: Familiarity with basic measuring and inspection tools (e.g., magnifying loupes, callipers, magstripe/EMV readers) is a significant added advantage.
- Quality orientation, strict process adherence, proactive problem-solving, excellent time management, and collaborative teamwork.
