Retail Store Director/Manager

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Retail Industry Expertise: Prior professional experience within the retail sector is essential.
  
• Leadership Background: Proven track record in supervisory or managerial positions, demonstrating the ability to lead and develop diverse teams.
  
• Prerequisite Roles: Successful experience as a Store Manager, Store Department Manager, Store Operations Manager, or Store Customer Service Manager is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As a Store Director, you will be responsible for four primary pillars:

1. Developing Human Capital

• Recruit, onboard, and train complementary talents.
• Guarantee a safe, healthy, and psychologically secure work environment.
• Embody Decathlon’s purpose and values to federate your collective team.

2. Strategic Commercial Leadership

• Manage local customer and sport user knowledge to prioritize the right product and service offers.
• Implement omnichannel and circular strategies (Second Life, Rental, etc.).
• Build a store mass plan aligned with merchandising guidelines and seasonality.

3. Best-in-Class Customer Experience

• Drive offensive commercial dynamism and manage the loyalty program.
• Optimize InStore customer traffic and conversion rates.
• Ensure "best in class" customer relationships through leadership by example.

4. Performance & Sustainability Management

• Manage the P&L and formalize action plans to bridge gaps between "realized" and "forecast" performance.
• Optimize stock accuracy, availability, and lifetime.
• Monitor and improve environmental impacts, including CO2 retail changes.
