Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Security & Risk Manager to lead the organization’s safety, compliance, and loss prevention efforts. This position is responsible for protecting business assets, personnel, operations, and reputation by developing and maintaining effective security protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and supporting preparedness for crisis and emergency situations. The role spans multiple sites and requires coordination with third-party providers and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies across all business locations.
- Design, implement, and regularly review security procedures and protocols to align with evolving operational needs and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate incidents involving safety breaches, loss, or suspicious activity; prepare detailed reports and support appropriate resolution measures.
- Manage and update emergency response plans, ensure staff are trained in crisis response, and coordinate internal response teams during incidents.
- Oversee the performance and compliance of external security service providers, ensuring training and alignment with internal policies.
- Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of budgets related to security and risk services.
- Maintain up-to-date records of security-related vendors, including CCTV and fire prevention systems.
- Provide timely support to operational teams in addressing and resolving criminal or security- related challenges.
- Serve as an active member of the Health & Safety Committee and support regular compliance checks in line with regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local enforcement and compliance agencies to support business continuity and legal adherence.
- Oversee the licensing and compliance status of all operating locations, ensuring timely renewal of permits and alignment with national and county laws.
- Coordinate vehicle inspections, service schedules, and ensure operational readiness of backup power systems.
- Monitor and report on vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and preventive maintenance.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminology, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate security, compliance, investigations, or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of statutory regulations and industry best practices.
- Proven experience handling emergencies, security technologies (e.g., CCTV), and incident response.
- Analytical and decisive, with the ability to assess threats and make sound judgments in high- pressure situations.
- Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Able to liaise confidently with both internal stakeholders and external enforcement agencies.
- Competent in managing third-party vendors and service providers.
- Experience in project coordination and supporting cross-functional teams.
