Banking & Treasury

- Daily bank reconciliations
- Liaise with banks to resolve issues

- 100% daily reconciliations completed on time
- Banking issues resolved within 2 working days

Accounts Receivable

- Manage invoicing (PFI, delivery docs, invoices)
- Customer reconciliations
- Debt collections

- Invoices issued within 24 hrs of delivery
- <5% overdue receivables beyond credit terms
- Zero unresolved customer discrepancies at month-end

Accounts Payable – Imports

- Post import invoices & landed costs
- Vendor reconciliations

- Import invoices posted within 48 hrs of receipt
- Vendor reconciliations completed monthly with <2% variance

Statutory Compliance

- Support VAT, WHT, PAYE, NSSF, SHA filings

- 100% compliance with statutory deadlines
- Zero penalties or interest due to late/incorrect filings

Production & Plant Accounting

- Record daily production entries
- Implement production reports & material issue docs
- Improve SAP production processes

- Daily entries posted with 100% accuracy
- Production reports generated within 24 hrs
- Reduction in posting time/errors by ≥20% through SAP improvements

Master Data & SAP Support

- Maintain master data
- Run SAP queries
- Support colleagues in SAP/Excel

- Master data updated within 2 working days of request
- Zero duplicate/incorrect master data
- ≥90% colleague SAP/Excel issues resolved internally without escalation

Operations Support

- Collaborate with factory teams
- Streamline cross-departmental support

- ≥95% operational queries resolved within agreed timelines
- Reduction in external support costs by ≥15% annually

Reporting & Month-End Close

- Compile monthly sales & management reports
- Prepare month-end closing entries

- Reports submitted by 3rd working day of month
- Month-end close completed within 5 working days

Audit & Year-End

- Support external audit
- Ensure timely year-end close

- Zero audit adjustments due to errors
- Year-end close completed within statutory deadlines

Process Improvement & Collaboration

- Design reporting tools
- Proactively resolve issues
- Share knowledge with colleagues

- At least 2 process improvements implemented per year
- ≥90% positive feedback from team on collaboration/support

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA preferred.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or plant accounting.

· Proficiency in SAP-B1 and advanced Excel skills.

· Strong understanding of Kenyan tax laws and statutory compliance.

· Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead process improvements.
