Job summary

Qualifications: Finance related Degree and minimum CPA Part 2 Final. Diploma also acceptable but CPA Level should be higher than Part 2.

Min Qualification: Bachelors Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 2 years

Job descriptions & requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Day to day bookkeeping and posting all transactions to the accounting system.
  •  Process payments to suppliers and ensure timely procurement of supplies.
  •  Invoicing and following up on late payments and reporting bad debts.
  •  Proper petty cash management and approving payment vouchers.
  •  Attending financial meeting with the Director to assist in decision making.
  •  Produce accurate set of month end accounts with comparison to previous month’s accounts.
  •  Preparing payroll and statutory deductions such as P.A.Y.E, N.H.I.F, and N.S.S.F.
  •  Developing and maintaining a financial data base and have effective internal control system in the accounting system.
  •  Preparing profit and loss and Balance sheet for the management.
  •  Bank reconciliation

The Company/Garage is based along Mombasa Road, Nairobi.
